I write literary nonfiction about Florida, art, media and identity.

My first book, ANYWHERE ELSE: Essays on Florida, is forthcoming from the University Press of Florida. My work has been featured in several publications, including literary magazines such as Counter Service, Saw Palm, Lumina Journal, and 12th Street. My essay "Me & Mary Frances" was listed as a Notable in Best American Food Writing 2020.
